Today I observed 2 Steem Witnesses sharing different perspectives of the future. I don’t know enough to comment. I do however recognize cracks forming in our community. I considered my options. 
My first instinct was to cash out and run away. That felt wrong.
I changed my perspective. I considered my (our) future. Daily simple tasks have been slowly becoming more difficult. The effects of age will eventually limit us all.
But, death has not yet stopped me. The rattling chains of tomorrow has stirred me to action today. Today is my focus. Those who exist in positions of power can govern our direction.
Today I remain committed to my relationship to Steemit. Things change, but I feel ‘till death’ is my current relationship vow.
Here is today’s beauty.
its not as bad as EOS yet but the way the price keeps dumping we have a one-percenter situation on our hands soon enough ... the idea with witnesses was to keep it de-centralized, something that doesnt work if they form cartels lol ... but as long as there's discussion and friction it should be more or less okay. The problem is most of these people are SO rich they have zero empathy with people "down-below" so it might be important to let them know :))
