Life is quite funny. Sometimes it seems like the whole world is against you and suddenly everything is working out for you. Today is my birthday and just like every other birthday I wasn't wished. My mum woke me up to tell me that there was work to be done. I did all my chores and toke my bath later. Later, my friends asked me to come over to their house (they are twins). I went and when I got there they yelled "Happy Birthday" they had invited my friends over.
One of the twins brought out a cake and asked me to blow the candles. We all had fun and although my parents and siblings still hadn't wished me, I was satisfied with the knowledge that I have friends that think about me and love me. The day is gone and still nothing from them but I have decided to be the author of my happiness.
