Hello friends, it is with great joy in my heart that I welcome you to another amazing episode of let's talk about it with @oluwatobiloba.
I must confess that this week has been a great one for me because I learnt so many things, I will be sharing some of the things I learnt with you consequently and I hope that you are also able to learn from them as well.

The rainfall in this area has just been so serious that one will wonder if there is nothing else attached to it, it rains virtually every day in this area and it just makes one want to sleep and sleep all day but in order to avoid hunger and poverty, we know very well that we need to work and even work well at that.
Let's get straight to the relationship talks for today, you know I can always count on you.......

RELATIONSHIP QUESTION FOR THE WEEK.

There was a trending argument on social media this week about allowing your partner have a "bestie" of the opposite sex, while some were of the opinion that there is no big deal about it, others felt that it is very wrong to allow your partner have a best friend apart from you.
I have decided to ask my wonderful friends here, what is your opinion about having a best friend who is not your lover, do you think it could result into having an affair with the so-called best friend? Let's hear from you friends......

THE RELATIONSHIP GIST FOR TODAY.

I am really glad that we have a guest for today after a long time, so I want to share the story with you, just the way I received it.
Hello, my name is Biodun and I am a single young man who is ready to go into a serious relationship if I find a good Lady who has good characteristics and loves me as well.
I have this close female friend who means so much to me, I feel very comfortable around her and we share so many things together, despite the fact that I like her very much and she is someone I would have loved to spend the rest of my life with, the issue is that, she is in a relationship with someone else she claimed to love.

I realized that she liked me as well even if she tries to hide it sometimes, so I tried to ask her out and see if we could get things going between us, but she told me that as much as she liked me she only wanted me to be her best friend, she does not want to lose the young man she is in a relationship with.

I realized that I was only wasting my time with her, the more I tried to hide my feelings when I am around her, I realize that I want something more than just been called a best friend, so last week I decided to have a reasonable conversation with her. I told her that the feelings I have for her is beyond just been called a friend, I told her it was better we cut off whatever we had going on between us since she was in a serious relationship, so I want to move on and get someone who will love me as much as I love her too.

But, from the time I told her I wanted everything between us to end, she has been crying seriously, she has not even been able to eat well and this has left me even more confused, she said she cannot date me and she does not want me to move on with my life, she just wants me to remain a best friend. Please what do you suggest I can do in order to save myself from this big issue and mess?
