♕Warped Expectations: Modern Relationships - What Women and What Men Want

It's 2016 and a lot of people still don't know a thing about relationships.  They know what they want..or at least they think they do.

What petty men want:
-pretty but low maintenance

What petty women want:

-handsome and muscular

Lets start with the Men:

Wanting a low maintenance woman that is "magazine cover" beautiful is like saying you want a gorgeous home with no upkeep.  It isn't possible.  It is a childish concept that is unobtainable.  People that look good, look good because they try.   #wokeuplikethis isn't real.  Those scenes in the movie where the actress rolls out of bed with perfect hair and makeup - yes makeup - is a lie.  

Women:

Your new man better be ok with your imperfections, but he better have awesome hair and a six pack.  Women are just as bad as men when it comes to flawed thinking.  They stare at their romance novels, and dream of finding a muscular man. If the man standing in front of them isn't ripped, they aren't a "real" man.  

If either men or women are looking for a relationship that will last longer than 15 mins, they need to shift their focus to less petty things, and look at each person for what they have to offer on the inside.  Lets face it, looks fade, but personality is for a life time.
