Are you more of a worrier or more of a warrior? Songwriting Challenge #15 "Worriers & Warriors"

in relationships •  5 years ago  (edited)

Hello everyone! Today's song is a tune called "Worriers & Warriors". The song is sort of an anecdotal commentary on the trials of life concerning people that cannot be faithful to their significant other. I feel that when people cheat on their person, they turn themselves into a worrier and thus a shell of a human. I feel this happens because by behaving in this manner, one is betraying themselves and not living righteously, stealing one's own joy from their life. When you treat your person right, with respect and love, it's easy to seize the reins of life and become a warrior, by being your best self. I find it interesting why people choose to make the choices they do in relationships (myself at times included). It seems like it would be much easier to just tell someone that you don't wish to be with them than to be disrespectful and hurtful. As the old adage goes, "the truth will set you free". Are you living a life that's true to yourself? I think when you do, you find that a whole new and amazing world of opportunity and happiness ensues. Please take the time to choose to live and treat others righteously. I hope you enjoy the tune.
