"For in Christ Jesus, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value, but faith working through love." (Galatians 5:6)

At first, we must recognize that the testing of our faith is of vital importance, because God himself tests our hearts. David says at the end of his life: "I know, my God, that you try the hearts, and that you are pleasing in sincerity." And as far as the future is concerned, the great trial is yet to come, when we must appear before His face. If you examine your true faith today, and with sincerity and awe you notice that you lack everything, that you lack power, victory, joy, spiritual fruits, and you have to conclude that your faith has no results, that it is not a faith, then let me now say from the Word of God that the true essence of your faith does not even exist. What essence? Love! "Let all your acts be done with love." Only such faith has value before God. When Paul warned us that all our action should be driven by love, he knew that a great faith can only be an active and fruitful faith when our first love for Jesus leads us to do things. Is your faith active through love of Jesus Christ, or do you have dead faith?
