"Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, rejoice." Philippians 4.4

The Lord Jesus said, "You are the light of the world." The light is seen. She does not speak, but she does. This is how true and genuine joy spreads. Another passage says: "... so that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inner man." The divine power in our lives is perceived by the world around us. People who live in great spiritual weakness are overwhelmed by a great desire to possess this power. Does God's power shine through your weakness, or do you have to make up for lack of power using many words? The Lord Jesus says he wants to give us rest: "... learn of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls." And for that to happen we have to go to Jesus! How wonderful it is when we radiate this sovereign tranquility in the midst of our day-to-day running. For this touches the hearts of the agitated people, and they begin to desire that inner peace which only has those who follow God. They yearn for Jesus and begin to beg: "In restlessness, Jesus, may You be my deep peace."
