Bondage of Ignorance

To believe the media, to believe what you hear, to think that the world revolves around the limited data of decision making you have, is ignorance. Bondage to ignorance continues a life of living blind to the fact that the knowledge you have is enough and the view or the world you have is only based on your experience, your education, and your lifestyle without the thought of pursuing more. The world is bigger than where you have lived, where you won’t move, and the barbershop conversation you have on what you believe to be the only crucial political stance that you have. If you do not proceed to learn more about the outside world, the education of other countries, and the culture of other races and choose to dwell on your limited knowledge as the absolute of truth, then you are in bondage to ignorance. I too have been in bondage to believing the United States of America is the most advanced, spiritual filled existence ever created. As I have been graced with travel, I realize my ignorance has cost some lives to live in absolute blind truth as I did. If you cannot travel, read. If you do not enjoy reading, watch videos and documentaries. If you do not desire either of these, then you choose to stay ignorant and allow that ignorance to carry your life from one false stop to the next in blind steps. Be free, be yourself, but break free of ignorance, for that is not truly who you were created to be.
