While I was looking for something to write about today, I found a story about natural disasters, and asked: Who controls these forces of nature? Are all bad weather events such as hurricanes, tornadoes, wildfires, earthquakes and tsunamis part of God's main plan? Does it make these events happen or is it just a function of how the Earth was created and caused by the basic phenomena of life on Earth?

God can use the forces of nature
It is quite obvious that God can control nature.
Jonah was swallowed by a whale to teach him a lesson.
SourceNoah was told to build an ark because God was so angry with the sinful nature that seized the Earth.
SourceJesus allowed Peter to walk on the water and calmed a storm while he was in a boat..
SourceMoses was allowed to pass through the Red Sea and cursed the Egyptians with plagues to ensure that his people were liberated.

Again and again, God or his son used the forces of nature in the stories of the Bible. Sometimes to help their people, sometimes to help demonstrate a point, and occasionally to help people realize how powerful the God they really serve is.
Current forces of nature
That makes me wonder: What about the Forces of Nature that we see today?

- Tsunamis that disrupt people's lives in a matter of minutes.
- Hurricanes that destroy billions of personal property and priceless possessions that are lost forever.
Is this something that God still has control of, the Devil that is on Earth, or just the side effects of living on Earth / human contamination?
1 Peter 5: 8
8 Be sober, and look; because his adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, and around looking for whom to devour;
It's amazing how people meet after one of these natural disasters. You can live next to a neighbor of 10 to 20 years and never talk to that person, but after a big hurricane, these people in a matter of weeks, can become some of their best friends. People who have no idea who you are will receive people after the hurricanes and open their houses, and churches will organize shared dinners to provide home-cooked meals to these people. The love of complete strangers is sometimes overwhelming when some of these great natural disasters occur.

What are our thoughts about it?
I do not believe that God sends hurricanes or causes earthquakes to punish people ever again. If you do not think that you consider that he gave us the rainbow as a covenant, he would never again flood the Earth. Do we believe that the devil causes these events? . . I'm not sure, but what I know 100% is that God has the amazing ability to take these horrible events and how to make them come out of them.
Genesis 9:13
"I have put my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth".
I would like to know your comment to the repscto, do you even believe in God?
Do you think it still causes the forces of nature, does the devil do it or is it just an effect of the world in which we live?
What do you think?
excelente post... muchas veces decimos,, Por qué suceden estos tipos de eventos? pero la realidad es Dios que permite que sucedan para procesarnos y aprendamos que Él es el Rey de Reyes y debemos adoración y lealtad.
