To Fellow Catholics and People of Goodwill:
Please. Do not be disheartened by the turmoil and calamities of our times. Especially do not be disheartened by the turmoil and apostasy in the Catholic Church. Hold on to your faith and remember that Our Lord predicted what we are going through.
One of the holy priests of the nineteenth century, St. John Bosco, predicted the spiritual battle of the Catholic Church; the same spiritual battle we are witnessing before our very eyes.
This dream fits our chaotic times. As the dream is explained by St. John Bosco, the ship, the Barque of St. Peter, is in the midst of a great sea battle. The ship is commanded by the pope, wearing his papal vestments, and is a symbol of the Catholic Church. The Pope’s ship is taking water, and even sinking due to the volleys of canon fire from the other smaller ships.
It is interesting to note that in July of this last year of 2017, Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI, is reported to have said “the Church is on the verge of capsizing”.
One is reminded of the passage in Luke 8:22-25 Douay Reims:
24And behold a great tempest arose in the sea, so that the boat was covered with waves, but he was asleep. 25And they came to him, and awaked him, saying: Lord, save us, we perish. 26And Jesus saith to them: Why are you fearful, O ye of little faith? Then rising up he commanded the winds, and the sea, and there came a great calm. 27But the men wondered, saying: What manner of man is this, for the winds and the sea obey him?
As further explained by St. Bosco, at the point in which the battle looks hopeless, and the ship may sink, the Pope anchors the ship to a Pillar of the Eucharist and to another shorter Pillar, atop of which is a statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and bearing a plaque with the words “Help of Christians”. At the moment, the Pope secures the Barque of Saint Peter, that is, the Church, to devotion to the Eucharist, and devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, the momentum of the battle changes and the enemies of the Church begin to flee in disarray.
The lesson may be applied by understanding the miracle of transubstantiation at the Consecration of the Sacred Host and Chalice of Wine into the Sacred Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
The Blessed Virgin Mary at Fatima in 1917, requested the faithful pray the Most Holy Rosary. For those who do not know, the Mysteries of the Rosary are meditations on the life of Christ, the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Holy Family.
This dream is well known and easily found on the internet. For a more complete discussion and good article of this dream, you may find one of many articles here:

So my friends, you see, do not lose faith, trust in Our Lord and his Holy Mother, the Blessed Virgin Mary. Let us worship Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament of the Eucharist and pray for the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
