What if all churches became united under the same common goals, not of saving the world by convincing someone to accept a set of religious rules and accept their idea of God, but instead unifying through moral principles, acts of service, and loving one another?
Why must everything be a sin in order to motivate to do good? Why must fear and guilt be placed in our hearts? Can one not learn truth, goodness, and kindness by positive reinforcement? Is it not human instinct and nature to want to share and give to others?
If places of worship were not divided by their own religious rules and beliefs, how much stronger would they be united? Spirituality is important, but at the cost of dividing countries?
I personally do not believe it matters what religion a person chooses to believe. It'd be cool to see all the donations and services which churches contribute to continue. But can people do that without it being a commandment?
