"A true believer is not involved in taunting, or frequently cursing (others) or in indecency or abusing" [Al-Tirmidhi]

●○•°•○● Dua of Adam ﷺ

"They said, "Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers." (7:23)
Lessons:
1- Take responsibility for your Mistakes
2- Look, first, to yourself for blame
3- Join with others who seek reformation, in your dua
4- Call out to Allah with an admission of guilt
5- Magnify Allah and Praise Him as only He deserves
6- Express regret, genuine remorse and seek to develop a sense of desperation at the thought of not being forgiven.
7- Ask for Forgiveness - that you are given the ability to earn enough good deeds to expunge and "cover up" your sins.
8- Ask for Mercy - That the Almighty removes the sin as if it was not incurred in the first place.
9- Pledge improvement into the future and a commitment to better yourself.
