I think all Christians believe that Christ was sent to give us grace and do away with the law. This is completely untrue, Let me show you why. It all starts in the beginning. I'm sorry to say but you will not be able to understand the Bible if you have only read the New Testament. The beginning is where every book starts and that's how the bible should be read, from start to finish. As stated in John 1 "In the beginning was the WORD, and the WORD was with God. Who was the word? The Christ. He is the Torah or Law. When you read Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John you see that Yeshuah followed the feast. He followed all the Commandments. This is why he was the perfect sacrifice. When God asks for a lamb to be sacrificed he has stated that there shall be "no spot or blemish." Now contrary to most beliefs the law was never done away with. Christ even states in Matthew 5:17 "Think not that I am come to abolish the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy BUT TO FULFIL. For verily I say unto you, till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Now from my understanding heaven and earth have not passed and ALL has not been fulfilled yet. So why have we fallen away? Why do we worship the father in a way contrary to him? God calls us to be obedient on to him and to follow his Commandments statues and judgements. But we are far from it. We have taken everything pagan and have slapped his name on it. Why? In Leviticus 23:2 it states "Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feast OF THE LORD" Not of the Jew's but his feasts! Are we not to be grafted into Israel? Yes we are! So why do we ignore these verses? Why is the church teaching things that are opposed to the bible? I don't feel it is my place to say but all anyone has to do is read and you will question those teachings just like I did. Now I stated in the beginning that Christ did not come to abolish the law, so why did he come? This answer was revealed to me by a man named Rob Skiba. If you read Deuteronomy 24:1 it states that "When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favor in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house. And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man's wife. And if the latter husband hate her, and write her a bill of divorcement, and giveth it in her hand, and sent her out of his house; or if the latter husband die, which took her to be his wife; Her former husband, which sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife, after that she is defiled; for that is abomination before the Lord." Did you see that? Jeremiah 3:8 says "And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and GIVEN HER A BILL OF DIVORCE!" Now we know that at mount Sinai a marriage took place. The lord married Israel and she receive the Torah or Law. And if the law states that a man cannot remarry a woman who has been married to another man, how can God call us back? Yeshuah! Yes Yeshuah is the answer! This is why he is called the bridegroom and Israel is called the bride! Yeshuah is our new husband and he calls us into marriage under the same law. This Ladies and Gentleman is the greatest love story ever told! Yeshuah died so that we maybe forgiven and return to the father through him. Wow who hath greater love for us then the father? Yeshuah calls us back and tells us to return. How do we do this? By obeying the Torah and going back to the WORD of God.

Good article, though I don't necessarily agree. May I ask, what are your thoughts on the trinity?
John 3:23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
I believe the Mosaic Law was given to true Israel alone. We are told in 1 John to believe on the name of Jesus (and in doing so fulfill the first of the commandments- to love God) and to love one another(and in doing so fulfill the second part of the commandments- to love each other). In this we are bound the the same Law but in a different manner.
Though I disagree, I respect your position and don't wish to change it.
For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.
Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.
