I still remember my sixth-grade history class.
The teacher while teaching us evolution and about different species of genus homo always used to say 'beta yeh sb hamara iman nahi hm sb Adam Hawa ki aulad hai (This is not what we believe, We all are children of Adam and Eve)'.
The course book was comprised of very brief big history from Big Bang to the evolution of sapiens on earth but unfortunately, the teacher's views were very contradictory to it. The teacher being a firm religious woman always used to remind us our beliefs before, during and after the lecture. And then due to the reasons unknown the school management ended up changing the history book in the next grade.
The new one was Oxford's Timeline 2 by Martin Roberts which was consisted mostly of Islamic and Mughal history. They had deprived us of our right of knowing our true origin and restricted us to what they wanted us to know!
