We all have different perspectives and life choices. I believe their is no 'should do' or 'should not do' type of rules when it comes to believe on religion. Coz there are thousands of religions, you can not even name them all. So what you believe or should believe is not necessary for a greater perspective.
I respect all of them who choose to believe on religion and who do not care about it. We all follows some basic rules in our life as a human being like not hurting others and showing empathy to the poor etc. But there is always an exception.
You can find thousand of good human who does not care or practice religion, and on the other hand you can find thousand of humans who practice religion but are not very pure by heart. So 'to be a good human' it does not need to believe in religion I think.
But as most of the religions are ancients so they evaluated many beliefs which is a great lessons for human life. We can not ignore that. So believing and practicing can help anyone to be in the right path. I also can add that, to find the 'inner peace' and a 'meaning of life' it is necessary to believe on something. And religion would be the best choices.
As there are no institutional education to train to be a good human other than society or religious beliefs, so choosing to believe in religion seems much more meaningful to me. But yes, there is no 'should' if you choose to not believe. But I would prefer to believe on something which gives me spirituality, helps to be a good human and peace for my soul.
If believing in something for spirituality or for the peace mind is religion, then all humanity is religious because we’re all believers in one thing or the other.
Religion is what one calls it! For example, I believe in supreme being, the source of all things which English people call God but yet I don’t subscribe to any religion because all religion brings separation which is not part of perfect love.
Thanks for your deep understanding.

I think finding inner peace is all our goal. If someone finds this through believing or not believing, that doesn't matter to me.
And yes as there are thousands of believes, so searching for the right one and believing what we follow is the right one is very tough.
So what peaces follow that, that's my understanding.

Everyone should be free to chose obviously. I chose Orthodox Christianity. It is the true faith that remains unchanged for over 2000 years. There have been hundreds of patriarchs going all the way back to Christ himself. We don't believe we are better than anyone else, but we have the fullness of the Lord's teachings.

Good for you that you don't believe you are supreme than anyone. I think every other religion believers think that they are better than others. That's create deviation and clashes.
I believe we all have the same goal - achieving fullness of soul no matter what religion we are believing in or practicing.
Stay blessed.

Yes, many or most of the world religion are ancient, which could be a trigger for everyone to believe or follow a religion.
Some might say religion are all superstition to human believes.
But believing in one or not believing at some circumstances doesn't matters, its how your mind and thoughts thinks towards others.
Believing in one will give more meaning and emphasis of life, and guidance. Being a believer doesn't means being the purest amongst others, but how your mentality and mindset and intuition is amongst others. But that's not all what being a believer to a religion is all about. There are countless. But a believer to a religion is important and should be subjective, in what I think.
But every body has his/her own thought towards religion

Yeah, I totally agree with your understanding and I also think that way.
Believers doesn't become supreme by believing rather it's for their own good.
