Today I would like to look at Romans 16 verse 17 and 18

17)I urge you, my brothers and sisters: watch out for those who cause divisions and upset people's faith and go against the teaching which you have received. Keep away from them!
18)For those who do such things are not serving Christ our Lord, but their own appetites. By their fine words and flattering speech they deceive innocent people.

We must always be careful for self-centered people, that does not put Jesus first in their lives, they will deceive us with nice words, thus it is important to know Gods Word, to recognize such people, and protect ourselves from being misled. We need to avoid these people.

Some people can become easily upset but it is always important to control your temper. There are many Proverbs about the tongue and how important it is to control it. Proverbs 8:21 is one of those verses.

More of it will come from those people because we in end time and Jesus Christ said it. Fake prophets will arise. We need to be careful not to fall into their fake messages. Thanks for the message @rynow

Completely agree with you, you must be more careful in our country, there are frequent cases where people disapear their faith for God, thereby cashing in on this. The usual sect.

I have a brother in Christ that challenges every doctrine of belief. His heart is right and he is very dedicated to God and deep into ministries. But sometimes his questions cause division. For example, questioning the trinity, debating free will vs. election, questioning the divinity of Christ , question if works are a part of salvation, etc. These things divide us Christians instead of unite us and confuse new believers. They even cause me to question some things that I fear I ought not question. I know his heart is right, and he's not trying to 'serve his own appetites' but instead search for the truth. But sometimes I wonder if he's there because God wants me to question things deeper or if he's a stumbling block.

I think always turn to the Word of God, that will guide us. You will need to show him out of the Bible what God says about these questions. Knowledge of the Bible is key. In this way you will help him find the truth.
(I did not study Christianity at a university, but it will be wise to ask somebody that did study further on this subject, as they have a better understanding, to assist in get a better understanding). So in this way God is helping you through your friend to get a better understanding of His word. If you fear that he will influence you wrongly, it will be best to avoid him.
