Scientology is a CULT and Tom Cruise is its leader

Scientology according to the dictionary: A religious system based on the seeking of self-knowledge and spiritual fulfillment through graded courses of study and training. It was founded by American science fiction writer
L. Ron Hubbard in 1955.
Scientology according to anyone that isn't brainwashed: A CULT.

I was recently in Sacramento, California and went into my first Scientology building. It was located right in the middle of a resurgent downtown area that had opened their $1 Billion sports arena that is home to the Sacramento Kings. I started taking pitchers inside the building on my phone and was quickly and rudely asked what the hell I was doing in there and was accused of being part of the press campaign to smeer the Cult, oops I mean religion. I was escorted out and the door was locked.
Over the last several months, Scientology had come under fire, in part, thanks to actress Leah Remini and former "fixer" for the Cult, oops I mean religion, Mike Rinder. Leah grew up in the church as she stared on such shows as Saved By The Bell and King of Queens. Leah and Mike both regained their consciousness and left the cult abruptly. They filmed an incredible show on A&E called Scientology and the Aftermath. Season 1 was incredible in exposing the horrors of Scientology and how lives are destroyed. Each episode averaged 1.6 million viewers and season 2 will be out soon.
Someone else that deserves a TON of credit in exposing Scientology is Australian television journalist Bryan Seymour who has been writing stories for a decade. Bryan has had his life threatened, gets followed everywhere he goes, and has been called the devil by the church.
Bryan has uncovered forced abortions, beatings and sleep deprivation by the church.
Last month, the FBI released their findings of the wing of Scientology called the Sea Org where many of its followers work and live. Here is what the FBI found:

  • Paying less than $50 a week so it's workers couldn't live on the outside
  • Monitoring all phone calls and emails
  • Limiting access to medical and dental care, and forcing women to have abortions
  • 16 hour work days, 7 days a week, with no time off
  • Confining workers and controlling their movements with the use of fences, cameras, and guards
  • Inhumane punishments
  • The confiscation of passports
  • The threat of disconnection, with family members
The church of Scientology has always considered itself above the law. It treats its own workers with callous disregard. And child molestation have been covered up for decades.
So why do so many celebrities get involved in the CULT? Tom Cruise has risen to the top and is the most powerful person in the church. He believes that he will live for a billion years, based off of the writings of a toothless psychopath aka L. Ron Hubbard, who passed away in 1986. Controversial figure, David Miscavige then took control of the church and its finances and got Tom Cruise to the top. The two of them are responsible for all of the churches transgressions and how they can sleep at night is beyond me. If you want to learn more about this CULT, I highly recommend that you watch the show on A&E and that you read a book that was written by the father of David Miscavige, Ron Miscavige, called Ruthless that tells all about his 40 years in the church, his exit, and how his son is running the biggest CULT in the world. Could stay the same thing about @ned! Na, just kidding!

I agree that this thing is a cult...i am from new york and the scientologists out there roam the streets trying to convince people to join..and they are just weird..

they never blink their eyes dude!

Thank you for reading and commenting. NY, Cali, and Florida have the highest amount

Yeah there's a bunch of scientology "churches" everywhere in NYC..i moved to CT, so i don't see them anymore..but it's nuts out there.

I know because I was there. They also taught us what they called "life skills" which is brain-washing. Take a look at this video. It is exactly what goes on at both Narconon Fresh Start and Scientology.

I agree, this is a brainwashing cult, not religion, with the leader D. Miscavige. They hate him so much in Hungary that once he was visiting Budapest, he had beed poured off with a bucket of excrement.

Oh wow! That's fantastic ha!

Imagine him stinking with pig-shit on his jacket :))) Maybe I'm a little bit evil, but I think he deserved that!

L Ron Hubbard said he wanted to start a religion for all the tax-free money. So he wrote a book of fiction, called it history (there's a lot of that around), and here we are. We are still not teaching people to think for themselves, nor how to discern fact from fiction.

That is so true. There is a very interesting link between Scientology and Narconon. I escaped.

I agree . One needs to know the difference and not be fooled into a lie. Good job.

Narconon is even more scary than Scientology, which is owned by Scientology.

I think I will be spicing this up a bit!

The treatment you got at the Sacramento Church of Scientology was less than exemplary. The person you met should have asked if you were interested in finding more about what Scientology is about, and then directed to the "Display Panels" and given a quick demonstration of how to use the panels and then left alone. If you found nothing of interest, then you would have been given a piece of promo and told that you could come back,

So sad!

I was a staff member at the London Organization and we did not have the panels, Instead we had the "Personality Test" and perhaps 40 people a day took the test. The test was how I got in as it was spot-on with its evaluation as I answered all the questions honestly. I bought the course that was suggested and it was not a lot of money. That course changed my life as it gave me a spiritual experience like no other in this lifetime. I can not say that anyone else doing the same course would get the same spiritual experience, but that Communication Course would certainly help you get along with others a lot better.

All that stuff you mention has not come to my personal attention. I do not know anybody who was victimized by the above mentioned people.

For brevity, I will end off with this: I have read the books and listened to the lectures. I have read the Bible (some of the books as part of a course I did in Scientology) . What is taught in Scientology is toward helping your fellow man rise to greater height in the spiritual and temporal worlds. It does not conflict with what the Bible says. You find ethical tools (I like to say the laws of the Universe) that you can use to become a better person and more effective in life.

Scientology is not for everyone. But it might be for you.

Get a book from the library such as "Scientology: A new Slant on Life" or "Scientology: The Fundamentals of Thought" and make up your own mind.

OR people could just call an apple an apple. In which I mean that Scientology is clearly a cult which has every intention of harming others.

You can consider it a religion if you like. It is still ridiculous.

It was founded by an mentally ill science fiction writer who claims all humans are made up of 75million year old aliens...

lmfao

Obviously Scientology is not for you. All the research you have done has not made any impression and has failed to show you that it is based on knowledge discovered in various societies in the world.
However, it would be christian of you to let others make their own research by at least reading some of the books and doing some of the free on-line courses. Let them find out for themselves and make their own decision.

To be quite frank, my research did leave an impression, a scary one.

From child labor, kidnapping, assault, harassment and fraud. Scientology is riddled with everything any decent human being would be against.

Forcing children to give intelligence reports on parents. Teaching people to find the personal weakness of enemys of the church and attack it.

Blatant attempts at discrediting anyone who leaves the church. Including Ronald Miscavige
, David Miscavige's father, who at the age of 75, had to flee from one of Scientology's internment camps.

This actually took quite an elaborate plan to execute.

You should inform yourself.

So your are critizing his religion of Christianity because he disagrees? Christianity doesn't mean accepting evil.

Narconon is worse than Scientology. Guess who owns it.

Another thought. If I was going to a Church and was going to take photos, I would ask reception if it was OK to do so. I might be a bit old-fashioned in these days of cell phones with cameras, but when I go to a museum or such, I check if they are OK with pictures being taken, and it would be the same for a Church as they might not like photos being taken of parishioners as religion is a private matter. Just saying.

Very fair comments @kiwiman1 Thank you for reading. I will check that book out.

I wish the Congress would take away their tax exempt status.

And also Narconon, which they own. Did I mention people die under their care?

I just heard tom cruise quit! Keep spreading the awareness bro.

Very interesting, I hate the world sm.
