The Gospel of James

vs 3 gives a clear answer to unanswered prayers.

You ask [God for something] and do not receive it, because you ask with wrong motives [out of selfishness or with an unrighteous agenda], so that [when you get what you want] you may spend it on your [hedonistic] desires.

God isn't deaf
God isn't wicked
God isn't partial

Most church folks pray for something, But God in His all knowing capacity has seen our desires and behaviours and decides not to answer.

A man who was so broke kept praying to God, immediately God blessed Him, he married another wife. So if he wasn't blessed, maybe he wouldn't have had the means to seek other women.

So persons want to be blessed so as to oppress others.

If you want to be blessed, CHECK YOUR MOTIVE, EXAMINE YOUR DESIRES, until then, God will not answer our prayers.

God bless us
