Completed staircase railing project!

This turned out better than I had imagined:

The wood stain worked out great, and the size of the wood turned out prefect I think.  This is up to code, and much safer now.  Special shout out to my dad who helped me complete this project.

The hardest part was drilling through the metal railing...as it turned out to be solid metal!
