عليك باختيار مكان هادئ سواء كان مقهى أو مطعماً، وأن تكون موسيقاه هادئة لتساعدكما على الحديث.
الخصوصية
يجب أن يتمتع المكان ببعض الخصوصية، بحيث يمكنكم الحديث والنقاش دون الحرج أو الشعور بأن هناك مَن يراقبكما أو ينتبه إلى ما تقولان.
أسعاره ليست مبالغاً فيها
وذلك لسببين: الأول حتى لا تحرج الطرف الآخر إن أراد أن يقوم بدفع حسابه، أو دفع الفاتورة كاملة، والثاني حتى لا ترسل رسائل خاطئة فيما يخص مستواك المادي و/أو الاجتماعي، أو أنك تحاول إبهار الطرف الآخر بالمستوى الأعلى والمكان الغالي.
يدخله ضوء النهار
إن كان الموعد بالنهار، احرص على أن يدخله ضوء الشمس، إلا إذا كان تفضيلك أنت أو الطرف الآخر دون ذلك، فضوء الشمس والطبيعة بشكل عام تساعد على الإحساس بالراحة والدفء، وتساعدكما على الحديث والكلام أكثر
