Solar Energy seems to be the most in abundance out of all renewable Eco-friendly energies in existence, trailed by Wind energy using wind Turbines and Hydro Energy...

Hence, so many emphasis has been on how renewable energy will change the world, which has increased power generation from Solar Energy to grow exponentially in multiples of 10 in capacity from recent years.

Chart Source 3: Global Energy Interconnections, Z Liu; 2015

Africa has a sunshine intensity as recorded to be averagely 40% in potential solar energy exploitation and generation; compared to that of Europe, Asia, North America which all has an intensity of 38% capacity out 100 in total.

Sadly, from the whooping percentage; Africa posses from the Sun Intensity in relative to the World's potential Solar generation, an average of 635 million Africans are still leaving without Electricity and or Adequate energy supply as indicated by IEA.

What about the unemployment conditions? An alternative energy generation means thousands of job openings for Africans, more good living and lesser poverty instances.

Energy crisis is relative to underemployment, a very known fact is that; with energy production/generation comes so many investment opportunities and job openings:

Produce adequate Power/Energy and Attract foreign Investors...!

Chart Source 5: The Race to Solar-Power Africa, New Yorker; 2017

Approximately; 50% of the World Super Powers/advance countries rely heavily on energy generation and production/supply. All these generated energies from multiple sources had been harnessed and utilized which has elevated them to the Technological Apex.

Africa on the other hand, with one of then most abundant self-sufficient energy source which is the Sun remains under-developed in the Energy sector. Only few countries in Africa are benefiting from this immense source of energy that is enough to go around the World.

Hopefully the Blockchain Technology shares this piece of analysis far and wide, and several individuals could create a token; trade-able on the Cryptocurrency market to fund this extremely capital intensive Mega Project of Powering Africa through the Sun!

very interesting / thank you

most welcome

Powering Africa through the sun? you're making me feel like a pessimist.

Interesting Writeup though

Pessimistic about what?

Because I dont see this happening

You may not see it happening, wait for it!

And hopefully our government embraces it also

We don't need them to embrace it, private sector could handle that....

This is great. I agree with you there is a ton of potential for solar energy there.

Thanks for the drop by @donkeypong , means a lot to us...

The problem is, if it cannot be monopolized by some corporation, then they won't consider it

What if there was a token to fund it? Have you read about the Real-Estate Token that will soon be lunched?

So i figured if programmers in Africa see this flying, it would definitely work cos we got the resources. For MTN to work, i believe it could work with the power of the Blockchain Technology.
