The concentration of wealth and monopolization continues on the global landscape, encapsulating a world of haves and have-nots with private access to the inner circle of operations, opportunity, and power, but only if we accept the pseudo-democratic and pseudo-representational politics underlined by corporate power and oligarchal collusion. The trade wars, the imperial wars, the cold war, the media spin is all an ongoing dyspeptic diversion from healthy collaboration, the justice of equality, and the building of a prosperous and invigorated public society instead of consumptive and depleting markets based on fear, paranoia, and destructive impulses.
