Era Swap Network (ESN) is a separate EVM-compatible sidechain attached to Ethereum Blockchain as it`s parent chain using Plasma Framework. Era Swap goal is to arrive on a more control-decentralized consensus algorithm like Proof-of-Stake (PoS) probably so that even in case the chain operator shuts down their services, a single Era Swap Ecosystem User can keep the ecosystem alive from any part of the world by running software on their system. And, similarly, more people can join to decentralize the control further.
The purpose of establishing a blockchain is to achieve speed, low-cost transactions, and scalability for Era Swap Decentralized Ecosystem. There are two types of Actors involved in Era Swap Network, Low level & High level Actors. High level actors involved are that appear to a layman user and the Low level actors are the one in the underlying validator node.
High Level Actors
TimeAlly 1LifeTimes Stakers
These are users in Era Swap Decentralized Ecosystem who has Era Swap (ES) Token staked in TimeAlly 1LT smart contract. TimeAlly 1LT staking`s can claim PoS seats which can be then used to get validator status or can be delegate seats to others.
Validator Nodes
Validator Node contains the ESN Node &Blokcee inside it. It is technically possible for anyone to run a validator node, but to become a validator and produce a block to earn rewards, at least one PoS seat is required, that seat can be claimed by TimeAlly1LT Stakers.
Era Swap Users
Era Swap users are the active users of Era Swap Decentralized Ecosystem. These users own Era Swap (ES) Utility Tokens and utilize DApps of ESE using their web browser by connecting their wallet via Era Swap Life or using a Mobile Application – 1DAAP on their Smartphone.
Low Level Actors
Blokcee – The block validator of Era Swap Network
Block proposer receives a Block proposer reward for every block they propose and these rewards than can be used to claim actual ES tokens being released from next month NRT.
Blokcee is an EVM-compatible node with consensus achieved via PoS Smart Contracts. Node operators have to stake tokens in TimeAlly and claim one or multiple PoS Seats in order to get a chance to propose a block. Every slab (40 Blocks), 5 Seats are selected pseudo-randomly from all the seats. Holders of these seats taketurns to propose a block that gets checked by all the nodes and accepted if it’s valid.The next seats get the turn to propose the block if the node doesn’t propose a block in the allowed time. After the finish of the slab, new seats are selected randomly and the process follows similarly.
Kami – The Guardian of ESN
Kami, also known as the guardian of Era Swap Network, it is technically, a background process that runs the ESN Node. An ESN Node checks transactions up to an EVM Context, while this is something more. Kami looks after the proper functioning of the Era Swap Blockchain Network.
Kami keeps a closer look on the ESN for any kind of attack taking place, when it senses one, its guardian form becomes activated and it does everything it can to prevent the attack from taking place.
