I don't care about the ease of repair per say in a mobile phone as much as I do in a laptop as long as:

  1. The battery is user replaceable
  2. There is expandable storage
  3. The phone is reasonably reliable and damage resistant

Unfortunately it is difficult to find phones with those traits. I'm currently using a Galaxy Note 4 and am pretty happy with it.
