We are pleased to share the highlights of our activities as members of the Newcomers community, dedicated to guiding and supporting newcomers in their initial months on Steem. This week has been particularly rewarding as we witness the continued growth and engagement of new users, and we extend our appreciation to the Steemit team for their unwavering support.
Throughout the week, our focus remained on empowering newcomers to create quality content, engage meaningfully with the community, and prioritize powering up as a means of account growth. Here are the key highlights from our activities:
Country Breakdown:
We are proud to have supported 190 posts from newcomers representing 12 different countries. Nigeria led with 61 upvotes, followed by Indonesia with 33 upvotes, and Venezuela with 32 upvotes. It's heartening to see the global reach of our community and the diversity of perspectives shared by newcomers from around the world.
Community Engagement:
Our support extended across 27 different communities, with the Newcomers community receiving the most support with 16 posts. Steem4bangladesh and Steem Fashion and Style followed closely behind with 15 and 14 posts, respectively. The active participation of newcomers in various communities underscores the vibrant and inclusive nature of the Steem ecosystem.
Club Status:
While we encourage newcomers to consider powering up a portion of their rewards, we maintain a flexible approach to club status. Among the 190 posts we supported this week, 120 were in Club5050, 43 were No Club, 22 were in Club75, and 5 were in Club100. We believe in empowering newcomers to make informed decisions about their account management while providing guidance and support along the way.
Encouraging Engagement:
In addition to supporting posts, we actively promoted 14 meaningful comments to foster engagement and interaction within the community. We recognize the importance of building a culture of support and collaboration, and we are committed to nurturing this ethos among newcomers on Steem.
