Steemit : How My Reputation Jumped From 25 – 39 In 7 Days

I feel like jumping and shouting! My reputation jumped from 25 – 39 in 7 days. Yes, in just 7 days.
It’s a long story but am gonna cut it as short as I can.

Commencing my adventure on Steemit started with a serious foot dragging. I lost 4 account before I understood how to handle the blockchain password – that’s about 3 months.
When I later started, I made flopped with my first #introducemyself. Under a few days with some posts, it seems nothing was happening and I kept pestering my mentor @jglowsinger on what to do and how to do it.
I woke up on my seventh day on Steemit to found out that my Reputation has jumped from 25 – 39. For me I felt like jumping although a learner. How did this happen I asked myself.

Here is what I was able to scoop:-
I had a post that earned 56 votes in a space of two days. I could say it was luck unless someone puts me through. It was an article I wrote for another site but decided to push it to Steemit. There are few articles I wrote but @ attracted more Upvotes. Think the album way, you never know the track that will turn a hit track.

But before then, I commenced reading other peoples post, Upvoting and commenting. I will tell you a clear and simple truth, I followed people with high Reputation, read their posts and commented in the style recommended by my mentor and online group members. I also followed a pattern of posting and commenting by such persons like @Nikv. As it turned out many of them commented on my posts and even upvoted them.

But there is something else, it seems making a leap on Steemit will cost you some sleep after hitting home from work. For me I go to Steemit site when the children must have gone to bed and the television off. You need to concentrate while reading so as to get the real gist in an article and also for you to comment accordingly.

Whaooo!

Becoming a Whale on my mind.
I have not made money yet but this leap in my reputation in just 7 days is a plus to my adventure on Steemit. I am still learning and soonest I will be celebrated.

Congrats starl! Great work! Steemit is a great community. When following others, I haven't really paid attention to their reputation...but maybe I should. I generally just follow people I find interesting. I followed you and would appreciate a follow back if you're interested in my content. Looking forward to your future posts...Cheers!

Its alright.
We are all here to add value.

Thanks.

Congrats! Hope you have much success on the platform.

Thank you.
Am learning and doing my part.

Ive noticed since being on Steemit. Links with pictures in comments do good for rep. Also filtering "introduction" and "new" it bring you people who need friends and want some sort of conversation. So i spent 1 full day following new users. Commenting on the blogs. Having an actual conversation. I still dont have alot of up votes or comments. But for the 1st week its been positive. Thanks for this post. Definitely helps. Also noticed if you add alot of people that are knew to steemit. Like 4 hourae of searching topics of interest and adding them. Having a conversation, THEN posting an article it will bring the new users in. Especially if some friendship have been made between the two. Big whales are to busy to see someone who is new. Its not an authentic relationship. I know higher reps are what we need. But long term people want a relationship. Actual feed back.

Thanks for the ideas.

I dont wanna make a new reply bc i found this is a greatest idea I have heard, THANKS. My rep jumped from 25 to 31 today, I was so surprised and wanna figured how did I do it lol. Congrats on your new milestone @starl
