Another successful sterilization - funded by a generous soul

Since our kennel space is full and we can not take on any more boarders at the moment, we have shifted out focus to "catch and release" sterilization of as many dogs and cats as possible. Normally we have to wait for funding but one particular tourist contacted us about a beach puppy that had captured his heart and this tourist wanted to pay for the sterilization process as well as vaccinations.

The beach dog doesn't have a name as far as we are aware but the generosity of a tourist who wished only to be known as Jamie, is not seeking any sort of recognition for his provision of these services. The reward of knowing that he changed this dog's life for the better was reward enough.

The pup was really well behaved but was obviously nervous in the veterinarian's office but this is actually quite normal. The process went off without a hitch and after a half a day of recovery, he was re-released to his beach home. It is unfortunate that we can not do more for it than this, but that is the sad reality of our organization. We simply do not have the resources to help them all

We will be closely monitoring his progress as the area that the dog hangs out in is a rather popular beach area for tourists and there were many other dogs there as well. We are going to focus on this area and see if we can hopefully secure more funding in order to sterilize the entire pack.

Once again a special "thank you" goes out to Jaime. Your generosity has not gone unnoticed and you have changed this little furry angel's life for the better.
