Good morning!
Just wanted to post an update on Garth. He's proving to be way too smart for his own good, but insanely sweet and loving.
He looooves rolling around in the grass
Cush tolerates him, but isn't the biggest fan. She hasn't really liked any of our fosters; she likes being queen of the castle.
I'm taking Garth to his first vaccination party tomorrow - all the fosters gather at a local vet clinic and rotate through for vaccinations, health checkups, weight checks, etc. Assuming there's no medical concerns, he'll be cleared for his neuter surgery.
He's doing really well on his training so far. He's mastered Sit and has started going in his crate with no bribery when I say House. We’re now working on Wait. He loves to jump up on people, so I’m really working to discourage this. He's also figured out how to open our back door when he’s outside and wants to come in. I make him Sit before going through any doors, the idea is that he’ll figure out that jumping doesn’t get him what he wants, but sitting does.
