I have heard it said that expectations are often pre-meditated resentments.
With this in mind, I broke down a recipe for expectations -
judging another by what you ‘believe’ in a situation
judging another by what you would ‘think’ in a situation,
judging another by what you would ‘feel’ in a situation,
judging another by how you would ‘react’ in a situation,
judging another by how you would ‘act’ in a situation,
judging another by your standards of who they "should" be
Some basic facts - we grew up in different families, communities, belief systems, environments and times -
With this in mind, outside of common actions in which we honor each other and our physicality, can we really all be the same?
