So 2017 just passed as fast as it had come. To be honest to myself, there were resolutions I thought I would fulfill that year. But for reasons unbeknownst to me or anyone, I did absolutely nothing. To make you understand this conundrum, I started on this resolutions thing 5 years ago (2013)! I did not stick to the plan.
So this year, 2018, I am supposed to work on the resolutions I made five years ago, right? Wrong! I have decided to quit the rat-race called "making resolutions". I am either not wired for it, or it was not meant for me. I don't have the heart for recidivism. I have decided to free myself from this bondage called making yearly resolutions. I will live one day each day.
Sometimes priorities change along the way and this makes it really very difficult to stick to our life's script. Things happen. Circumstances change.
Sometimes I hit my brain cells on the concrete of my brain cavity trying to find how many other people do it. I mean those who are able to draw annual plans and stick by it. How do they do it? How do they manage to go through all those plans? Am I lazy, or do I , maybe, just maybe, lack the motivation to focus? Am I the only weird guy or what?
