Any system that tries to get rid of measurement systems such as medium or exchange will experience shortages and impoverishment due to the lack of supply and demand signals.
I’ll take the downsides of individual freedom over any of the consequences of central planning, and RBE is central planning. All of the people of the world won’t voluntarily collectivize all resources.
I’ve heard all the arguments, I know the pros and cons of each. I choose freedom/individual property rights over central planning any day.
It eradicates pricing signals which are vital, and it also will never happen because almost no one will collectivize all of their resources. You are free to act like it’s a possibility though!
