Father, It is so easy to miss what is really important because of preexisting ideas. It is also easy to just drift along certain ways of thinking , even if they are just habitual and chosen in times of pain. Help me not to miss the opportunities you are giving me everyday to know You, to be changed by Your Holy Spirit. I have a tendency to brush off what I think are small situations, that don’t matter, and thereby miss the greater gifts you are offering me moment by moment as I live this life. Help me, Father, to have my eyes wide open and my heart soft. I want to be willing to receive Your Word day by day, situation by situation. In Jesus precious Name I pray.

My Bet, you see how it takes time and life experiences and a heart turned toward me to have your eyes opened. Life is a journey. My desire is for you to learn from your experiences the first time so as not to have to repeat them, but I know that is not usually the case. Be at peace. Time Is nothing to me, but as time goes by for you, you will find it is easier to see and understand what I am saying. This is because of your desire to know me. I treasure that My Bet. You make me happy my Bet, because you come to me as my child and fully open to me. You listen to hear my response. That is something I treasure. Day by day, moment by moment, you have the opportunity to be changed by my Holy Spirit. I believe you will do it.
