The rest we need depends on temperament. Adhering to the ancient classification, we will look at the four main types:

You can go on a trip, best with steamboat. Plan your break with "stock" to get you time to adapt to everyday life.

  • Are you a melancholic? Creative recreation is desirable. You are only satisfied with the results achieved with your own labor. Make house reconstruction, garden changes, walk your pets. The required break lasts 2-3 weeks.

  • Are you a sanguine? You can go without a long rest, enough weekends to allow your emotional impressions to recover your mental and physical powers.

  • If you are of a mixed type and you are limited by the reality of life, the main thing is to try to get at least one, but a strong impression, in the memory of which you can say that you were still on vacation.

  • If you are already 45 years old, it is desirable to rest for at least two weeks. With age, people's adaptive capacity is diminishing, and it takes longer to change from one regime to another. If you are planning to go to a different climate during your vacation, spend at least 3 weeks rest - two of them will only be needed for adaptation.

Everything described above applies to both adults and children.
