If you can improve the quality of your work in matters that others have proven to do so. Who else will find quality in your work these morals cannot only be applied just to earn tokens. Make them a habit to apply them in life.

Good message brother. If I only focus on high quality work on Steemit, then I will feel discouraged because I don't always get the recognition and rewards I think I deserve. However, if I was to do everything in my life with high quality, then I think I could be rewarded in any one of those areas at some point instead of putting my eggs in one basket.
It's important to assess yourself and see what you can do better today than yesterday. Sure, you may not get rewarded immediately for that one thing, but if you do that for lets say 3 things a day, you have a much better chance at scoring on any of them in the near future.

Even if someone is on here initially just to earn tokens and influence by contributing lower quality work, at least they made the decision to come here. This site is powerful enough for these people to change quickly and realize their true potential here. IT'S NOT FACEBOOK where you mindlessly scroll through nothingness. I come from the stock music background. Just a few years ago quality meant little there and authors were flooding the market with easy made tracks. It was simply a better strategy to win in quantity instead of quality, it paid off. But then the mediocre music on such marketplaces started reaching critical mass and they began to reject more and more stuff. So nowadays you can't just churn out a bunch of okay tracks and expect it'll work. Today you have to compete on both fronts, both the quality and the quantity matter. Tired of this insane tempo I decided to take a break and produce an album I would be truly proud of. I simply can't do this in a hurry, and I believe nobody can produce a bunch of high quality songs straight in a row without stopping for a break or any change of activity. You know how it is, the sound starts to wear off and you need fresh ears to bring your own work up to standard. Even if this slower tempo is not wise financially, I hope it'll create a more positive image of me as a producer in the long run and allow me to reach a wider audience as a result.
