I really liked the explanation on having an organic following because it can mean the difference between having a channel that can thrive and even become the face of a new platform or having a dying channel that has loads of followers that won't check what you post.
I also liked how you were planning to diversify what you post to reach out to larger demographics I think that will allow you to set yourself up to be a fixture before new users come on the platform.

People follow on Steemit for like content and interest. Takes a min. to start getting views and using resteem bots to get in front of a few more eyes are better than using upvote and comment bot. But once you get a nice following you've got to keep them, keep up the work homie.
