ARE RESTEEM BOTS REAL OR FAKE? IF YOU GIVE A RESTEEM BOT STEEM WILL THEY RESTEEM?

in resteem •  7 years ago

I'm new on Steemit and one of the forms of promotion is made independently possible by bots. I'm not sure of how to configure a resteem bot. The idea of the bots? The bots present the potential for an automated response to be delivered by automated accounts or resteem bots. Because these accounts are automated it doesn't mean there isn't a real person monitoring the bot. It seems simple enough. The pitch is out there in a number of accounts. All you have to do is click on the hashtag #Resteembot and you'll find a few. You'll also find users that prefer to create challenges or social media family style participation. The truth of Steemit is that it's a symbiotic growth relationship triggered by active users attributing to account values with upvotes. A number of accounts will offer contests for STEEM or resteems. And, there are their fair share of feelings that you've been scammed after sending Steemit to a bot account. I'm going to go over a number of problems that bot accounts may present when thinking to invest your steem into an automation that resteems. Let's start with the potential value. Have you ever opened a box and your unboxing left you feeling ripped off? With no way to crack the whip to drive the offer forward in return for resteems due to anonymity of of some accounts. You're likely best off going for real engagements in comments where others share your interest. The cultivation of comments that appear from your search, leaving upvotes, and resteeming all accumulate your @. As your account begins to progress you'll notice searching your Steemit subdomain begins to take on results of interactions. This can be both positive and negative. A great post could be one that you upvote because the content favorably suggests your ideals on parenting. Lets say you have children. Your friends look up your name and mommy or wife. The search results appearing can play a role in the first thought processing of modern future. My first thought of someone may be deprived of real world engagement. However, SEO may provide a first image of what to expect. You may want to protect your search results or marry them together in sanctimonious harmony. Is it morally correct to think that all resteem bots will follow up on their offer? Sure. But, it's not the case. I've been commenting and sending STEEM testing the power of bot accounts. This is what I've learned. After reviewing a number of accounts offering resteems I followed up with tasks including but not limited to; following, upvoting, and commenting. I did send STEEM to bots asking for a minimal request of 0.01 STEEM. However, I haven't seen any results from the response engagement in their account. I did receive results from one account in @tow-heed. The account didn't request STEEM. However, I sent 0.1 STEEM to the account for consistent shares of my music content.

Should you use resteem bots?
If they work for you it's a great way to get your content in front of other users. Content creation may be the best way to drive traffic in unique user views. Be thankful for the bots that you get to actually follow up on their offer should you contribute STEEM. I would suggest that everyone should think before they think to send STEEM to a resteembot. You may want to engage in free offers and contest offers. Should you win the contest, or the bot actually be maintained by an active user, it may lead to resteems for the duration of your accounts lifespan. Eventually, the posts will stop at some point for everyone. Making the best of every post is likely making the best of your first degree contact pool. Rather than send a resteem bot STEEM you may want to invite your neighborhood to participate in upvoting. A first degree relationship with the law of averages deriving that over time your collective may contribute a good amount of STEEM in collective participation. If every house in the neighborhood had one STEEM account where you live. And, that user was introduced to the Steemit platform because you invited them to join. That kind of account may win more upvotes and resteems than accounts that canvas for resteem bots to test.

Will they resteem?
Some of they do! I believe the one I referenced was a response to a free request in contest offering free resteems to active responders completing task of follow, upvote, resteem. @tow-heed

Real or Fake?

Both! Some appear to be real and some appear to be fake. The follow ups appear minimal. But, that doesn't mean they won't kick in sometime in the near future. Whereas, my post about resteem bots in correction to these statements may be made.

Powerup or Bot?
It's likely safer to place your steem in the Powerup section and let the magical staff of @steemit perform their rituals that get accounts on Steemit viewed by a larger audience.

Bot or Meet ups?
Meet ups are a great place to get the local population of participating users motivated to work collectively! Resteem bots can't hold a camera while you pose with a pineapple over your eye. Try to attend the meet ups available. There are some meet ups that can be pricey. Therefore, research and discover whether it's better interest to create your own mini gathering at a coffee house like Starbuck. Where within a few hours a group can take advantage of the shared space. The coffee shop hero meet ups can lead to discovering who is best at holding the camera, and who is best at configuring resteem bots that actually respond to users sending them steem.

What are some of the problems with resteem bots?
Depending on the bot itself. The bots can come with shared problems. Overall, the bots are automated. The content they resteem is partially in blind faith. There are likely parameters that offer reasoning for resteeming music content before other forms of content. Where the bot that's responsive has picked up is in the form of music industry. I can only suspect that terms including specific key words automate the attention of the bot. The bot may be further advanced in taking a Steemit Feed dividing the complete feed into categories, reducing to music, and further reducing to @Sutter. Whereas, once the bot host engages the account in response to offering the implementation fires off as much as humanly possible. Depending on the power of your account and your bots account the timeframe consideration must be considered. Where the timing of the bot may fire off a multiple of posts and some have failed to be resteemed. The configuration of the bot may not offer any more STEEM Power to attribute to further resteems. Therefore, there may be limitations on the account for the reason of ability by way of Steem Power. If the bot is responsive and you send it steem. Let it be at your on recognizance. Never suspect that the offering may result in the desired achievement after following tasks. There are some bots that have been non responsive after completing tasks requested. When reviewing bot accounts you may want to think in innovate ways. For example; I'm the administrator of http://www.webcamcards.com. I can make an offering that provides users with the ability to send me STEEM in exchange for placement on the website. I can make an offer that will provide the user with simple tasks to follow. The implementations creation furthers blog posts alerting subscribed users to the feed. The collective supporting the website transferring a few STEEM in exchange for an article in hopes to collectively benefit over time. But, just like bots. There's no way to offer the absolute response of upvotes, resteems, and comments to be achieved. I can say that the configuration of my websites http://www.trendingteam.com and http://www.findradiodjs.com have helped increase the upvote count on my posts. This post enters my wordpress widget in RSS feed style fashion. And, I can enter anyone on STEEM into a similar widget. I'm a real person that's active and responsive. The article is fairly cut and dry offering 3 months minimum placement. The fee of 5 STEEM can sustain my ability to manage and expand my websites. Today is Thursday May 10th 2018 and the approximate value of STEEM to USD is $ 3.42 USD. The grand total today would cost a user $ 17.10 USD for an article write up. The user can elect to create the websites themselves with tutorials at a cost that is far more excessive in expense than my offer. Therefore, an offer like that may be a home run should active response come from the article creation. That's actually something I can do for users on Steemit. The attribution of the collective can offer growth to the entire community of those that respond. The user base naturally grows as more content is generated. It's more work than a bot. Assisting others may lead to a responsive following that's willing to assist your accounts growth with their upvotes. If you would like me to develop webcamcards for Steemit collective please reply to this post with offering of 5 STEEM in exchange for article placement where your feed displays in article with widget similar to the one installed on http://www.trendingteam.com. The problems with bots can be their response isn't able to respond, their volume is overloaded and can't process due to low STEEM Power, and they may not reply back. However many problems. There are some of us that like to test the waters. I have and these are my findings.

Thanks for reading this article. Please reply if you know of any active and responding bots offering resteems and promotions of Steemit materials in exchange for STEEM or STEEM Power.

Upvote this post if you've thought to use a resteem bot. I will try to follow everyone that upvotes this post before Thursday May 17th.

Thanks again for reading on my Steemit.
