Come with me to the right place, WASHINGTON DC

Oh boy. Where do I begin? Washington DC is one of the greatest cities I've ever visited. It is enriched with many historic monuments that represent hope and freedom. Not only it's full of beautiful monuments, it's also full of many interesting museums! D.C. has art museums, historic museums, and even a garden museum. And not to mention, all of the museums have free entrance!

Washington DC offers you the understanding of how the United States became to be.

I honestly do not know where to begin; oh right. How could I ever forget?
"IN THIS TEMPLE AS IN THE HEARTS OF THE PEOPLE FOR WHOM HE SAVED THE UNION THE MEMORY OF ABRAHAM LINCOLN IS ENSHRINED FOREVER"
The quote located right above the statue of Abraham Lincoln. The Lincoln Memorial monument is truly magnificent.

You can approach the monument by passing by the Washington monument and the National World War II memorial. It's located in a huge chamber; surrounded by 36 marble columns which was inspired by Greek temples. When you enter the building, you can notice many inscriptions on the wall which include 2 of his speeches. The view from the Lincoln Memorial is breathtaking. It overlooks the Reflecting Pool and the Washington monument.

My advice is to visit this monument. You won't regret it. It's full of history and beautiful architecture.

Not only that, some people were born and live there! I was born in DC. When I was a baby my family moved out the the Maryland suburbs. 17 years ago I moved to DC's cool sibling Baltimore, a city worth visiting that is less than an hour's drive away. I know the DC streets like the back of my hand. I am going there tomorrow to visit my Mom, who moved back into the city after I grew up. What you need to do is have a real native show you around!

Cool story, I'll make sure to visit Baltimore.
Thank you :)
