So i still don't have a strong base of income to fuel my entrepreneurial ventures and therefore i still work a day job at a Canadian retail discount store known as Giant Tiger. Though i have had a positive experience with the company and have met some very knowledgeable people particularly from upper management such as our regional manager, the same cannot be said for the better part of the clientele.
Some clients are great people and can impact your day in a positive way. Other though are some of the most disrespectful and quite frankly disgusting human beings i have ever seen. As this is a discount retail chain it is located in a low income area and some of the people walking in there have no education and feel as if you owe them something. I remember one client making one of my co workers cry as they screamed at them on the top of their lungs.
I have some great stories of some of these individuals but i wont go into specifics. Some general situations are clients yelling at you because a certain product is not in stock. They treat you as if you own the store and make every decision. If you explain to them that you are just and employee they will get even more mad.
As i said there are some great people that i have met but I have had the unfortunate privilege of meeting some horrible people. So remember to always be grateful for your desk job or wherever you work :D
