C64 Game Memories - Revisited 30+ Years later : Poster Paster

Poster Paster, published by Taskset in 1984 seems to be one of those titles that went under the radar whenever I talk to anyone about old C64 games they remember from back in the day as not many can remember it.

It was similar in style to Pipeline and Super Pipeline (also from Taskset) but instead of fixing broken pipelines while avoiding various baddies, you had to paste posters on billboards while avoiding baddies!

Poster paster has a very jolly musical tune, but one that is on repeat so grates after a while. The basic premise of the game was pick up a section of poster (this varies from 2 to 8 depending on level) then dip your brush in the pot of glue then climb your ladder and stick it to the board. Various creatures would try to kill you by walking into you so this involved moving up and down the ladder to avoid them or using the glue you have on your brush to throw at them. Quite why this glue killed them was never explained.

Personally I never found the enemies diffcult at all, but the main sticking point (geddit?) for me was lining up the posters so they would unravel in the correct spot on the board. You needed to get it pixel perfect so much frustration was had a lot of the time!
The most frustrating was that you had to go down the ladder to get a new poster if it didn't fit properly. 2 or 3 times fair enough but on the 8th time it begins to wear.

The levels get progressively harder with more sections of poster and more baddies per screen.
Still one of the better early C64 releases for me, still very playable. What games do you remember that no one else does?
