Popular Computing Weekly is a magazine that was published weekly in the U.K. Weekly! I am not aware of any computer magazines being published that often in the U.S. at that time. That would have been pretty neat, especialy at less than $1.
The issue of the week of March 20-26, 1986 includes:
- News - Olivetti shuns Acorn in educational drive
- Competition - Design a picture and win a graphics tablet
- Graphics - The Future - David Lawrence looks at developments in computer graphics
- Graphics - The Hardware - The best way of getting your ideas to the TV screen
- Spectrum - Shoot Out! Blast the baddies but watch out for the Cactus
- Amstrad - Myriad colors using interlacing - we show you how
- QL - Art - create your own designs
- BBC - Compress your graphics with this compacting algorithm
- Letters
who knew at that time that world would be sofar ahead in 2021. the design of mouse is vintage.
