Cover of the April 1986 issue of Zzap!
This magazine was published in the U.K. and I really wish there had been something similar published in the U.S. back in the day. We had some pretty decent Commodore 64 magazines but no gaming specific ones. The April 1986 issue of Zzap! includes:
Hot Games For April
- Zoids - An action/adventure/strategy game controlled in large part by clicking on various icons.
- Questron - A fantasy RPG from SSI that predates their Gold Box AD&D games. This was an excellent RPG and you can see some similarities in design to the Gold Box games that would come later.
