The divine revelation of Jesus: To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood. Revelation 1:5

The Book of Revelation begins its story testifying to the divinity of Jesus, and the apostle John in his visions was a witness, according to what the book relates, of what must happen during the second coming of the messiah, the only Lord and savior: "The revelation from Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants what must soon take place" Revelation 1:1.
It is important to note that the Book of Revelation is in a certain sense a continuation of the Gospel of John, especially in his literary style when the divine book reveals Jesus as the son of man; the apostle John showed seven personifications of Jesus in his gospel, and an eighth personification in the Book of Revelation; according to this book Jesus is the personification of eternity, that is, the simultaneous possession of all time, past, present, and future: "´I am the Alpha and the Omega,´ says the Lord God, ´who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty´" Revelation 1:8. The alpha and the omega as letters of the greek alphabet, represents the beginning and the end of time.
And the apostle John, before beginning to recount his visions, described Jesus as the source of all blessings for humanity, especially peace and spiritual love (Agape), who with the sacrifice of his death and resurrection freed us from the slavery of sin:
"Grace and peace to you from him who is, and who was, and who is to come, and from the seven spirits before his throne, and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth.
To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood, and has made us to be a kingdom and priest to serve his God and Father" Revelation 1:4-6.
The book of Revelation shows us Jesus as the personification of that Kingdom that must be definitively established among men.
