BLOG #107 :REVIEW MOVIE : SWEENEY TODD

Today I will write an article about a movie directed by Tim Burton.In the previous article I reviewed a movie also directed by Tim Burton, film called: Dark Shadows.

Sweeney Todd is a violent horror film, rather it's a musical, by the cruelty of cruelty, the loss of the person of hatred in the protagonist making murder a pleasure.
In the opening scene of the movie, the audience learned that this would be a bloody movie. Blood like rain, blood poured down the roofs of London's foggy city.

It was Benjamin Baker's return to London, a hairdresser.
Judge Turpin loves beautiful Lucy (Lucy is Benjamin Baker's wife)..Benjamin Barker (Johnny Depp), imprisoned and sentenced to life imprisonment in Australia.he is innocent, others have harmed him.

Fifteen years later, Benjamin escapes and returns to London, hearing his wife drinks poison and dies, his daughter being detained in Turpin's house, and his house is now rotting. . Renamed Sweeney Todd, along with the "worst baker in London" woman Lovett, Benjamin plans revenge.
Sweeney Todd continues to work as a hairdresser and ... kills his clients.Then he uses the victim's flesh.He gave the meat to Lovett to make bread for the Londoners.
Musical style of Sweeney Todd is quite modern, because each song is dialogue,, The actors, from Johnny Depp to Helena Bonham Carter, all presented themselves with their voices.

Both the judge and Sweeney Todd died.Lucy appeared late in the movie, she never died.

Critics rated Sweeney Todd as the best film of Tim Burton's career.
The National Film Critics Association awarded Tim Burton the best director award for this film.
