Actually, I have been bringing up a similar dilemma since one of the last Transformers movies. I mention how computer graphics and traditional Hollywood effects are at odds. Just because a CGI has a lot of high definition detail does not make it better. If a game is meant for action, then it needs to flow. If it is a slower pace, then some details will be especially important to keep the user's attention. No wonder why there are strong cult followings in this space. Gamer's need things that disimilar folk just do not understand.
