History | The series takes place approximately ten years before the Star Trek stories: the original series, with new characters that will continue the premise of the search for new worlds and new civilizations on board the spacecraft USS Discovery, maintaining the characteristic reflection of the series on contemporary issues through the prism of science fiction. In the series you can see how the Klingon T'Kuvma wants to try to unite the 24 big houses of Klingon, leading a cold war between their race and the United Federation of Planets that ends up involving the crew of the Discovery ship |
Star Trek Discovery is a series of Genres-Science fiction and Action, the story that tells us is 10 years before the original series, and show us the USS Discovery, exploring space, in the search for new planets to proclaim a message of Union and Paz, however in the course of their trip they encounter difficulties that will make them change their initial objective, to start the distribution of the series I liked a lot, the actors interpreted their papers in a good way and they got in full its characters, the plot of the series I liked since it does not focus too much on the battles against the Klingons, but it shows the series from a more objective point of view, showing how the environment develops inside the USS Discovery Ship and how its crew develops, in the face of new situations that arise although they also show some scenes of battles, but they are not too spectacular, what I really liked is that they show technologies that do not had been seen in other Star Treek sagas as the Spore Engine, to perform Space Jumps and traverse distant distances in a matter of seconds, or the Klingon Infiltration technology to infiltrate human soldiers, implanting them the personality of a Klingon, and Another thing that seemed great to me was the inclusion of an Alternate Universe, where the Federation of Planets dominates this universe, however they have ideals contrary to those of their counterparts.
What I did not like very much about the series was the last episode of the first season, since I felt it was too forced, it would have been better to leave it when The USS Discovery returns from the Alternate Universe, since I felt that they did not develop the war that they have against the Klingons, but I suppose they did it to focus on this in the Second Season of this series, without more saying is a pretty good series, and I highly recommend it even if you have not seen the Star Trek Saga However, if you want to understand the story behind some characters, I recommend you watch the Star Trek saga before watching this series.
Well this is all for my part, I hope you are encouraged to see this great science fiction series and thank you for your support.😃
