[SPOILER ALERT! Watch out for spoilers form the episode!]
The episode picks off from where its first part left off. Mack has to make a decision whether to blow up the unidentified spacecraft or not, Daisy, May and Deke are trapped in the moving truck along with Snowflake and the super bomb, Sarge is in the Zephyr and has freed Jaco and Pax, and Fitz-Simmons are trapped on the spacecraft with no way to contact Earth and no idea they are in danger.
Mack quickly makes the call. Leave the Spacecraft, but try to rescue their teammates with the Quinjet, a mission over which Yo-yo quickly takes charge. However, Sarge has plans of his own: take charge of the Zephyr and fly away from the danger zone. He deftly lies to his team about Snowflake, saying she couldn't make it out in time rather than tell them he purposely left her. And with surprise on their side, they quickly take the Zephyr's bridge, handcuff Mack, and set up a force field to keep Yo-yo out. Meanwhile, down on the ground, Deke was trying and failing to disarm the bomb which, they had learnt from Snowflake's description, was an atom bomb. But, just as they'd lost all hope and the truck crashed into the tower, Daisy protects it in a counter-vibrational field, preventing the detonation. However, the crash destroyed the shirke-repeller, leaving the truck open to vicious attacks from the stone birds. The vehicle holds for a while, but then the birds begin breaking through... until Daisy, once again the hero, opens the door, lets them all in, and destroys them all with her quakes.
Up in the spacecraft, Izel is furious. She felt when the tower was destroyed and now suspects Fitz-Simmons who, at last, have figured out what she's done to the crew. In the pressure, they finally fix the ship's communications and contact the Zephyr, using a code to signal they were in danger. Unfortunately the Zephyr was still being held by Sarge who immediately realised Izel was listening and began the first and only conversation between the two, revealing that Sarge actually has no memory of the family he claimed to have had, and that their history together might be more complicated than we think.
But then Jaco turns and helps Yo-yo, Fitz-Simmons manage to hideaway on the ship and Mack take his Zephyr back. With Jaco on their side, they proceed to storm Izel's ship and rescue Fitz-Simmons. Inside, they split off: Mack, Yo-yo and Piper find Fitz-Simmons, Jaco and Davies find Izel, and despite clear orders, decide to engage and end her once and for all. However, when they split up to come at her from different side, they find she has inexplicably vanished. The team meets back up but can't return to the quinjet and end up using Jaco's spray portal tech to transport to the truck. Then he takes the bomb and returns, destroying the spacecraft and himself in a bid to stop the beast once and for all.
And with that, the episode flows into an ending almost like a season finale. Mack and Yo-yo get back together (quite unrealistically, if you ask me... Keller's death was really just a week ago in the show!), Snowflake is locked up but has privileges because of her relationship with Deke, the whole team is back together and all their missions accomplished. Plus, in a shocking close, May coldbloodedly shoots and kills Not-Coulson, presumably bringing that arc to a close (lol... we know that's not true).
Almost like a finale, but for one glaring thing: Izel is obviously not gone, and her return will definitely be connected to Davies' uncharacteristic sleepiness. How will that play out? Your guess is as good as mine. Four episodes to the end of this season... something's definitely coming!
