After a long wait of 4 years, the second part of the successful anime arrived at the WIT studios on 1 April 2017.
For the many people who are rushing to the chapters of the manga at the end of Season 1 (or even before), may think that it is not necessary to see this adaptation: the effect of surprise is absent, it would remain only the animation and the atmosphere to sustain itself?
Big error!
Every face, every cry, every movement of a blade will give you back the shivers that reading had been able to provoke in you ... (and it is a faithful reader of the manga who tells you!)
And for the others, who have waited patiently for the release of Season 2 and who will take full force every event over the episodes, the satisfaction will be even greater!
Genre: Shonen, Action / Horror, Drama / Fantasy
Synopsis - Season 2:
Eren and his companions finally managed to capture the female Titan, but the Rose Wall gave way and giants invaded the scene!
The members of the 104th Brigade believe that they have found a safe haven in the ruins of the Utgard fortress and are preparing to take some rest for the night.
Unfortunately, the Titans, though supposed to be inactive after sunset, do not intend to give them any respite!
REVIEW:
We are not going to hide it, the anime Shingeki no Kyojin Season 2 is a pure marvel!
At the level of the unfolding of the episodes, the action and the suspense unite effectively to keep us in breath. We are told at the outset that something is happening. Both the characters and the spectators do not have time to settle down.
The first episodes remind us without any gentleness of the cruelty of the titanic universe in which we had grown accustomed to seeing our heroes evolve (and survive), to bring us back into the bath.
The scenes of carnage, which would hardly be reacted if they were not so violent, arrive very quickly and are combined with one or more revelations in the course of advancement! And what revelations!
They arrive at first, at the beginning of the narrative, scattered here and there in a rhythm still tolerable for the heart, then without transition, without respite, they take us by assault and completely lose us in the history that it was thought, wrongly, to know well.
Second strong point of the Season, and history in general: this pitiless accumulation of desperate situations!
When we think that the circumstances in which the characters meet are already problematic, a new event even more unexpected and more desperate is added to the whole to make the situation worse! We are flooded, tossed between the most unlikely turnarounds (but it touches us!) And it does not end until the very end of the closing episode.
As much to say that if you have the bad idea not to chain the 12 episodes of a blow, the cliffhangers of end of episode will badly experience you.
And for the reluctant ones who would be reluctant to watch because "already read": the dazzling animation redefines the manga for you. The setting up of scenes of action and turnarounds of major situations is mastered in amazing way!
The expected effect is there, and terribly effective. Even the discerning reader can feel again the excitement and suspense, knowing full well what happens afterwards.
Everything is built in order to captivate the viewer, the camera movements, the games of glances, the music that always harmonizes well with the different scenes and defines the atmosphere: stressful or anguishing, stimulating or real vector adrenaline!
Without forgetting of course the plans on those frightening and oppressive beings that are the Titans, which make us become aware of the imminent danger to perfection
Finally this magnificent animation that no longer presents, punctuated by these sublime games of light, these breathtaking details at the level of the eyes of the characters and this blend percussion between the chara-design of the anime and that of the mangaka arising during expressions of shock, folly, anger and despair of the characters, accentuating a little more the intensity of the emotions.
An intrigue which remains full of mysteries, uncertain combats and military operations; betrayals, drama, hope and despair: In short, this suite is not to be missed under any pretext!
NOTE : 10/10
"Shingeki no Kyojin Season 2 fulfills all its promises. Beautiful, intense and captivating, the anime benefits from a real research in the staging of its events that perfect the already sensational story of the author. Rare quality! "

I hope you like this post! You can follow me @redanime so you don't miss my future posts.
I loved this anime. I didn't see all the twists coming and that's what I like from a story. Too bad the rbf Corporal wasn't in action, but it didn't make the anime less awesome, though. Can't wait for the season 3. (I didn't read the manga btw)
