Well, I actually didn't mean to do a restaurant review or anything but accitentally, when we're at this community called 'Kudichin'.. We're hungry and this is the first decent one we saw and it's somehow interesting...

Haleep restaurant (ร้านอาหารฮาลีฟ)

The name of the restaurant itself doesn't sound so Thai to me so no, it's not a Thai name. It's Muslim :) Muslim people are all over here in Thailand especially, down south.

Here's what the sign says '5 star, clean, fresh'

You will probably find this a bit interesting as I know that, in some countries, the cleanliness of the food have to be something high up. Here in Thailand, we have so many different types of restaurants and we're actually more relaxing about the cleanliness than the Western world.. Honestly!

This one for me is actually a decent one..

Oh! talking about the relaxing mind set.. Look at the door, it's not fixed still. They used that plastic sheet instead of a proper glass. Psych! Someone just randomly walked into it and the glass broke! LOL

Looked around the restaurant with the color and all the decoration combined.. I told my friend 'They decorate the place pretty interesting..'. She told me 'They totally sell food, not the place'. Sure thing!

Thai food !

Due to the religious limitation, they don't serve pork (HALAL!). Also, in my point of view, they're famous for their beef dishes! so there we ordered..

Stir fry beef with pepper (เนื้อผัดพริกหยวก)

This one probably doesn't look so unusual for you as you know, it's pretty much stir fry.. beef, peppers, carrot, onion and of course, with rice!

Stir fry squid with salted egg (ปลาหมึกผัดไข่เค็ม)

This one you might find it a bit exotic as you know, it's salted egg! How many countries eat this kind of stuff? Yes, we do use it in soooo many dishes and yes, I so love it. Have it stir fried with squid is one of the most delicious way you could do so yes, my friend order that one! :)

The food was just so good! So was its price!

Even they have been promoting the 'Kudichin Community' to be one of the must-visits here in Bangkok, Thailand, all the local business around here still sell food at such reasonable prices. I'm impressed!

There she is! A friend since high-school so it's been like 15 years and still counting! She's for sure one of the besties I have. Do you have yours? and how long have you guys been friend? :)
