hey Net... I know you are leaving steem and what not, of course it's your choice, and I hope you don't take this the wrong way. But, is this really how you want to leave? it seems like you are closing the door shut and as far as I can tell, there is probably no good reason for it.
I'm not making an argument for you not being allowed to upvote yourself or anything of the sort, we both know that anyone can do what they want with their stake. I'm just saying that you being someone that contributed to this platform, that cared, that became a witness and even made it to the top 20, you have quite a bit of social investment here, and this sends a negative message.

Firstly, no one said I am "leaving Steem" so not sure where that comes from. I have a $50k stake in this network and with that stake I am able to do as I please. I have plans for the comment farming I am doing and it was being done in a less than visible location with minimal text to reduce spam load.
Every "company" on this network uses the reward pool to pay for expenses and distribute Steem. Any investor has that right as well. If you cared more about this network I feel like you would find a way to put more than $7000 in the network before accusing someone with quite a bit more on the line than you have how to behave.
I will continue developing with Steem and I actually plan to use the funds I will still siphon from the reward fund to pay for further projects. If you don't agree with me, don't support me. It's a very simple decision to make.
If one person using their bought in stake (not earned within the network) is sending a bad message, then Steem is dead and you should move your $7k elsewhere.

Things have been a bit crazy lately and the verbal battle that ensued made me assume things , but then again assuming is never good.
I'm glad to know you are not leaving btw, I find your intellect to be valuable to this blockchain, so believe or not, this is good news.
