Irresponsible, Ignorant & Unhealthy

in revolution •  7 years ago

These are the behaviors that qualify citizens of the USA for federal aid, tax breaks and medical benefits. The antithesis of these behaviors receives nothing in return. How is this possible? Why are people/couples with no children, who are educated, contribute to society, and live a healthy lifestyle treated with such disregard by virtually every major sector that affects them?

It’s no wonder cryptocurrencies are gaining ground and will continue to do so in the next few years. We have been robbed and controlled by central banks thanks to the Federal Reserve money creator. The best way to fight this has been through global adoption of a digital monetary system that bypasses the injustices we’ve experienced throughout history.

The food industry is no different. The largest isles in most grocery stores are filled with cereal, snacks and sweets; all completely unnecessary food items perfectly placed in the quickly accessible center sections. Fillers designed to instantly appease and replace what the body and mind actually needs.

Just as the current uprising in the economic industry is taking place, so too should the overconsumption of unnecessary food items be resisted by adopting a healthier lifestyle with reasonable portions and sustainable foods.

I don’t consider myself a conspiracy theorist but I also don’t believe in coincidence. The noise from nutritionists, doctors and health advocates has been so conflicting and overpowering in the last few decades that a sense of apathy can be palpably felt when anyone even mentions the word “diet.” This is no mistake. It’s a simple decoy to distract from the truth, which is that healthy eating makes you independent from government dependence. Let that sink in.

This doesn’t include outliers, (i.e. an extremely small percentage of the population) that have pre-existing conditions or experience sudden life altering changes. The much larger group are the ones that simply over consume in every possible form. From higher medical costs and bankruptcy filings to tax deductions on more offspring, this group has literally suckled the government tit and continues to do so at the expense of those who engage in the complete opposite behavior. We are the minority and hopefully the voice of reason that will revolutionize a new way of thinking. As Elon Musk simply put it, “I’m just trying to think about the future and not be sad.”

I believe my purpose here is to inform; to educate based on my personal experience, research and observation. Since I began cooking healthy and exercising I’ve lost more than 50 pounds but my goal is not to promote weight loss. This wasn’t a fad diet but a complete change in all the foods I grew up eating, believing that my body and mind were being properly nourished when in fact the opposite was true.

In the next few posts I will go over the simple ingredients I use on a daily basis and why. I’m also conscientious of cost and practical eating, meaning I mostly buy in bulk and don’t like to spend more than one to two hours cooking something for the week. I respect everyone’s opinion on what food items may or may not work for them. The ingredients and recipes I’ll share here work for me in flavor (I like things spicy), in practicality (fast and simple) and in health (my body accepts them without issue).

I’m not an extremist in any sense of the word. I try to live my life in a balanced manner. My M.O. is to eat healthy 95% of the time. Eating out occasionally yet still aware of my portions and how to improve any dish with healthier ingredients in my own cooking. Some comparisons will be pictured and discussed here. Much more to come!

My contribution to the revolutionist movement will be to turn the recipes I post on this blog into The Revolutionist Cookbook and eventually open a restaurant where only cryptocurrency is accepted, where tipping won’t be necessary as everyone will be paid full salaries and where simple and healthy ingredients will meet delicious cuisine. Like open source code, all of my recipes will be available to the public in full detail and any improvements offered will be embraced and possibly added to the menu in their perfected form. Really good article

ohh this is good. Love this type of informative stuff thanks for shedding some light!

Great article. I always wondered why people that eat and live healthfully are not rewarded? Imagine a society where you were rewarded for being healthful and not using up the nation's resources!

Congratulations @revolutionstcafe!

In the 1950's we spent 20% of our income on food and 6% on healthcare. Now it's 25% of our income on healthcare and 6% on food. You are going to spend the money somewhere, spend wisely! Unfortunately with government subsidizing the cheap food is all made of corn, wheat and soy which is driving the booming healthcare and pharmaceutical business. It will bankrupt the entire country one day if people don't decide to change.
